 Eric Anthony   Eric Anthony

1. When did you work at the International School of Geneva and what was/were your role(s)?
1963 – 1997 Chemistry Teacher and Department Head
1965 – 1982 Boarding House Supervisor

2. Describe your life today, where you live and what you do.
Sue and I are living in a very rural area close to Romenay, South Burgundy. We are kept very busy looking after a farmhouse, a lot of land, and caring for a bunch of lively Labradors. Occasional breeding of puppies, and many trips to dog shows throughout Europe.

3. What are your strongest memories of working at Ecolint?
The good fortune I had to meet a wonderful international student body, both in my Chemistry classes and in the Boarding House. I hope I gave them something – they certainly gave me a great deal! I was equally fortunate to work with so many teaching colleagues who set the highest professional standards. I also very much enjoyed my participation in the development of the Chemistry programmes of the International Baccalaureate.

4. To what extent do you like to keep in touch with former students and colleagues
Thanks to Alumni Reunions, the Alumni website and Facebook groups, Sue and I are in frequent contact with alumni, and we have had visits out here on many occasions. We are also in regular contact with many former colleagues, and meet up with them on a regular basis.
