We were delighted to hear about a noteworthy gathering of alumni that took place last month in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It brought together fifteen members of the Class of 1966, along with many spouses.

Molly Hirons Lewis kindly played hostess for a three-day reunion of classmates from the American College Prep group of the then 'English Side' at La Grande Boissière. They were marking the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Ecolint.

The group had previously celebrated reunions in Washington D.C, Copper Mountain, Colorado and Toronto. By now, naturally, many of their spouses have become well integrated into the group too and all but four of them were in attendance.

The alumni who participated were Stephen Arbuthnot, Bruce Black, Robyn Brown Hoffman, Gail Carpenter, David Chardavoyne, Tom Charles, Norma Dudde Williamson, Ralf Garrison, Molly Hirons Lewis, Joan Inoue Musitano, Rami Khouri, Jim Kurtz, Don Melton, Ron Miller and Mark Trueblood.

Robyn Hoffman kindly told us more about the weekend's events:

"Ron Miller and his wife Mary Ellen brought from Michigan all the ingredients and supplies to make cheese fondue, which we enjoyed for Sunday brunch. We had Saturday night dinner at a French Restaurant and Sunday night dinner at a Spanish tapas restaurant, so we were very international."

Molly Hirons Lewis was presented with a plaque expressing the group's gratitude for her efforts in organizing the event.
