As previously reported, sadly the marmite de l'Escalade went astray somewhere en route from Geneva to Boston last month, and only turned up about a week after the Escalade dinner there. The dinner went ahead –report and photos here– but, as reported below by Lalitha Ramakrishnan (LGB '71), a second gathering took place on 21 December, this time with the marmite!
"Although the turnout was small it was a fun and spirited group! Thank you all for turning up at such short notice!
After some wine and cheese, the long awaited chocolate marmite was smashed, as tradition would have it, by the youngest and oldest alumni present, Anna (Cocconi) Sinclair (LGB '69) and Alex Nesbeda (La Chât '02). Other alumni present included Frank Sinclair (LGB'69), Christine (Lamb) Jenkins (LGB '73), Lalitha (Sundaram) Ramakrishnan (LGB '71) and Camran Shahidi (LGB'79).
And finally our host, Swiss Consul Felix Moesner and guests of the Alumni. Thank you Felix!"
