Ecolint Alumni not only have the right to vote in elections to the Foundation's Governing Board – they can also stand for election. The Call for Candidates for the next election, in May 2018, has just been released, with four seats to be filled.

Having an alumni presence on the school's Governing Board reflects and reinforces the important contribution Ecolint's wider community makes to the school's continued success. The board is currently chaired by an alumna, Melay Ras-Work (LGB '87), and counts Andrew Ryan (La Chât '96) and Christophe Roux, former teacher at LGB's primary school, among its members.

Board members contribute directly at a strategic level to the governance of the Foundation. The Board holds the primary responsibility for ensuring that the Foundation’s strategic plan is aligned with its mission and it is also accountable for the financial well-being of the school.

It is a diverse group of people, composed of 12 elected members, 6 appointed members and 2 co-opted members. They are representative of the Ecolint community as well as the Swiss Cantonal and Federal authorities.
