Matthias Kuhn (LGB '88) alongside with a friend has created its small business: Geneva Uncorked, wine activities in the lake Geneva area.
Geneva Uncorked was created in March 2011 by two wine enthusiasts. Though we will not call ourselves experts, we have a strong interest in wine and the Geneva region, and and look forward to sharing our passion with you. At this moment we offer a seasonal program with winemaker Domaine du Paradis. As we develop we intend to offer different wine and winemaking experience programs.
Matthias Kuhn is a Geneva local. He has extensive experience in the fragrance and flavor industry, and as an advisor for start-ups and venture capital at Unilever and elsewhere. He is currently working as Licensing Officer at Unitec, where he helps to commercialize new technologies in the field of physical science.
Edward Boon is Dutch but has lived in Geneva for two years. He has a background in online marketing and brand management, including 3 years at Procter & Gamble where he was responsible for perfume brands such as Hugo Boss and Valentino. He now has his own company in online marketing and website usability. He recently started a PhD in Marketing.
