Liam Bates who graduated from La Chât in 2006, made a film in 2010 about a trip with 4 young men on motorbikes, from Lhasa in Tibet to Shanghai: Ten thousand miles. It is one of the film at the Selections for the Lucerne International Film Festival!
This first festival in Lucerne takes place from October 19th to the
22nd, 2011. Liam is performing in a Peking Opera in Beijing this week,
so unfortunately can't be here for the festival.
