Bengt Lidgard1. How long did you spend at Ecolint?
Six years from ’78-’84 at La Châtaigneraie, French section.

2. How did you come to attend Ecolint in the first place?

We moved to Coppet from Paris.

3. Which teacher had the biggest impact on you and how?
Several really… Mme Fornéris, Mme Matheret, M Henri. They were inspring and rewarding.

4. What was your favourite spot on campus and why?
L’Hôtel de Founex! Seriously: the bus stop/apple orchard and the tennis courts.

5. What was your favourite place in the wider region, and why?
The Mountains: the views, the skiing and the climbing!

6. Describe your life today, where you live and what you do.
Live in Stockholm with a wife and three kids. Serial entrepreneur currently working on a music start-up:

7. What should be Ecolint's top priority as it approaches its 100th anniversary?
Make sure to be well integrated with the French speaking community. Keep the local/small scale touch that was key to its culture.

8. What "words of wisdom" would you pass on to today's Ecolint students?
Keep in touch with your friends. They are for life, believe it or not!

9. What has been the biggest impact of your Ecolint education on your life?
It gave me a sense that everything is possible and that an international community is a normal state of life.
