 1. What is your company’s product/service?
TopEventBooker organises enjoyable workshops for corporate and group outings in Suisse Romande, for memorable experiences in gastronomy, crafts, art and culture. These are unusual workshops to bring employees, clients, friends or family to discover the excellence and know-how of local artisans, artists and experts. Through our online catalogue of activities, with several packages ranging from a single workshop to a complete outing with workshop and meal, we aim to offer convenience and efficiency to our clients.

2. Where was it founded and where do you now have offices?
TopEventBooker was founded in Geneva, Switzerland, and our office is in downtown Geneva.

3. Number of employees at peak (and now)?
Currently, we are a small team that are passionate about the culture of know-how in creation and innovation.

4. What was the hardest thing about building the company?
Getting from idea to launch wasn't easy because before we could get up and running we had to research, meet and select a range of top-notch professionals; all of that before we could organise the first workshop. And of course, for any startup, the hard job is to find the brightest marketing strategy that gets your business off the ground.

5. Where do you see your company in three years?
I see TopEventBooker offering a large catalogue of workshops and events in a number of cities in Suisse Romande.

6. Do any other Ecolint alumni work with you?
No but I am in contact with other Ecolint Alumni who have also created their own companies.

7. In what ways (if any!) did your Ecolint education help you in founding a company?
The international environment at Ecolint helped to give me an open mind and a curiosity for many fields and trades. This is really useful when you are an entrepreneur who needs to learn about many topics and do all kind of tasks yourself. Also, for me, my two years of the IB programme were central to developing my entrepreneurial spirit. I enjoyed creating personal projects with a considerable element of freedom and self-management, which inspired me to launch my startups.
