Paige HustonPJ's Parts LLC

> Founded 2006

1. What is your company’s product/service?
Sales of high quality motorcycle accessories, such as exhausts, windscreens, levers, etc.

2. Where was it founded and where do you now have offices?
Founded in Kentucky and now in Maryville, Tennessee.

3. Number of employees at peak (and now)?
Three at peak, now just myself.

4. What was the hardest thing about building the company?
I had no experience or education in accounting, so I found the behind-the-scenes business accounting quite challenging at first.

5. Where do you see your company in three years?
I'm really not certain. I feel myself being called back to Europe, and this business is firmly rooted in the U.S.

6. Do any other Ecolint alumni work with you?

7. In what ways (if any!) did your Ecolint education help you in founding a company?
Most of my products are imported from Italy. While I don't speak Italian well, my bilingual education in the French program at Ecolint gave me the ability to better communicate with my suppliers and foreign customers, no matter what language they speak. It also gave me a sensitivity to cultural differences, and that has been valuable in dealing with international companies.
