Join us at the Museum of Fine Arts

The International School of Geneva is celebrating its 90th anniversary throughout this school year. As part of the celebrations, Ecolint Director General Vicky Tuck is visiting alumni in a number of cities in Europe and North America.

In Boston on Wednesday 22 April she will host a reception at the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts. The event, at which drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served, will take place in the Bravo Restaurant from 6pm to 8pm. As the museum will remain open late on that day, after the reception attendees will have the opportunity to wander through the exhibitions until 9.45pm.

We are grateful to Lalitha Ramakrishnan (LGB '71) for her considerable assistance with the organisation of this event. Lalitha is happy to answer any questions you might have about transport to and from the venue, etc...

The Venue

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world; the collection encompasses nearly 450,000 works of art. The museum welcomes more than one million visitors each year to experience art from ancient Egyptian to contemporary.

An admission fee of $25 is usually charged, but attendees to our reception on April 22 will benefit from free access to the exhibitions, with late opening until 9.45pm.

Getting There

Guests should enter via the Huntington Avenue Entrance using the Bank of America Plaza on the Avenue of the Arts.

The MFA website provides detailed information about access by public transportation (Green Line to MFA stop or Orange Line to Ruggles) and driving driections.

Parking is available in the Garage and Open Lots on Museum Road at the special member rates of $13 after 5:30 pm, $15 before 5:30 pm.
