FIRST ANNUAL ALUMNI EXHIBITION @ CENTRE DES ARTS

The first Annual Alumni Exhibition, from November to January at LGB, will feature the work of four artists: Tyson Skross (LGB '98), Matias Echanove (LGB '95), Natacha Steiner (La Chât '03) and Tania Grace Knuckey (La Chât '05). JULIAN AZKOUL RETURNS FOR A CONCERT AT LGB

Following their successful visit for a series of workshops earlier this year, the United Strings of Europe, led by Julian Azkoul (LGB '06), will return to the Centre des arts on Thursday 24 November for a concert of works by Mozart, Boccherini, Schubert and Mozart. Tickets on sale soon!  more...



GLYN UZZELL PAINTING GIFTED TO ECOLINT

A work by renowned painter and print-maker Glyn Uzzell, who taught art at Ecolint from 1957 to 1979, was presented to the school last month by alumni brothers Ken (LGB '64) and Manzo ('67) Nitta. Mr Uzzell, who died tragically in 2014, had given the work to them on a visit to Japan in the 1990s.  more...



REMEMBERING MARY WATSON (NÉE SHAH)

Alumni of the Lycée des Nations, forerunner of La Chât, were sad to hear of the death on Sunday 4 September of Mary Watson, who was at the school until 1974. Described as "caring", "warm" and "gentle" by her friends, she is survived by her husband John, who was her classmate at school.  more...


ECOLINT CHOIR FEATURES ON CHARITY SINGLE

A cover version of the Quincy Jones hit "Tomorrow (A Better You, A Better Me)", featuring a choir of Ecolint students, was released last month in aid of the UNHCR's work with refugees. You can lend your support by downloading it from iTunes or your digital music retailer of choice. more...
