CatalyseThe Centre des arts at La Grande Boissière will play host next Monday to the first of a new series of lunchtime events designed to provide a platform for alumni (and others) to contribute actively to the Ecolint community and keep the school present in their professional life.

Bettina Vernet (LGB '78), along with the artist Noga, will deliver a lunchtime talk, open to students, teachers, parents and alumni. They will speak about the power of the voice and co-creation in the feminine plural – le pouvoir de la voix et la co-création au féminin pluriel – exploring the pleasure of daring to go off the beaten path and the opportunity to be both a corporate actor and a stage performer.

Bettina is the director of the association Catalyse, which was founded in 2003 by Noga. Catalyse aims to link performing arts and education, using the transformative power of the voice and improvisation to encourage personal growth and change.

The talk by Bettina and Noga, to which alumni are warmly invited, will take place at La Grande Boissière on Monday 28 September at 12:00.

The Alumni Series at the Centre des arts will take shape through conferences, encounters, discussions, ateliers and performances. Former students are invited to contribute in a personal and interactive manner to inspire today's students, to become role models and to forge relationships. Through offering insight into the professional world our alumni can help students to better understand where they are going.

If you would like to put forward an idea for an Alumni Series event, please contact the Director of the Centre des arts, Anne-Laure Oberson (
