The Rocky Mountains Escalade Dinner has been a fixture in the calendar for a number of years now; North Carolina was a new addition to this list this year. Thanks to Judy and Joann respectively for organizing!

Judy Ackerman (LGB '70) was the organizer for the Denver Escalade this year, with the Colorado alumni gathering in Johnny Mac's Café in Littleton.

In attendance were Leslie Anderson (LGB '73), Bruce Barta (LGB '73), John Fernandez (LGB '67) and his wife Karen, Tony Fernandez (LGB '70), Judy Ackerman (LGB '70), and  Dave Downing (LGB '90) and his wife Denise.

Thanks to John Fernandez for the photos.

A first for North Carolina

Joann (Duvekot) Nabb (LGB '69) brought the Escalade Dinner tradition to North Carolina for the first time, hosting a gathering at her home in Matthews. She writes:

The dinner was small this first time, but  what a walk down memory lane!! We enjoyed fondue, sang Cé qu’è l’ainô with great gusto, accompanied by the guitar, and Kristin and Joann – being the youngest and oldest – broke the marmite. It was great fun!

In attendance were Wendy (Krummel) Ikoku (La Chât ‘74), Kristy (Hilderbrand) Lampe (LGB‘ 69), Kristin Lampe (LGB '90), Barbara Talbott (LGB ‘69), George Lampe, Paul Nabb, and host Joann (Duvekot) Nabb.
