Alumni who registered to vote in this year's Ecolint Governing Board elections will receive their electronic ballot paper in mid-April; and those who did not register will still have an opportunity to vote in person at the Consultative General Assembly on 24 May 2016.

There are three seats up for election for the normal four-year term and one further seat for a one-year term. The names and biographies of all candidates standing for election this year are available here, along with, in most cases, a short video introduction from the candidate.

Ahead of the opening of the voting period, three "Meet the Candidates" sessions have been arranged, one on each Ecolint campus. All members of the community, including alumni, are invited to take up this excellent opportunity to assess which candidates match the required competencies to contribute to the running of the Foundation.

The Meet the Candidates sessions, at which light refreshments will be served, will take place as follows:

> La Grande Boissière: Tuesday 5 April, 12.00-13.30, Centre des arts Room 105
> Campus des Nations: Wednesday 6 April, 12.00-13.30, Room 423
> La Châtaigneraie: Tuesday 12 April, 12.00-13.30,  Léman building, Assembly Hall

Your vote counts

Voting in the Governing Board elections represents one concrete way in which Ecolint alumni can influence the direction and success of their former school. In a recent note to staff and parents, Ecolint's Director General Vicky Tuck discussed the importance of having a Board that will defend Ecolint's values:

"Having a Governing Board of members who are keen to champion the core values of Ecolint while, at the same time, ensure its robustness, appeal and viability for the long term is vital. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to work with Board members who are prepared to give their time, wisdom and professional expertise to contribute to the School’s ongoing success and well-being, to make informed strategic decisions and to hold me and my team to account in a constructive way."

The Consultative General Assembly of the Ecolint Foundation will take place on Tuesday 24 May 2016 at 19h30 at the Campus des Nations. Attendees can vote in person from 19h00 to 19h30.
