The first Ecolint Escalade Dinner for 2016 took place in Oslo last Friday 25 November, organized once again by Cecilie Nilsen. (The Netherlands event, which was to take place earlier in November, was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute owing to bad weather and the ill health of a number of attendees. They'll be back in action next year!)

Many thanks to Cecilie for organizing the Oslo dinner and for sending the report and photos below.

Two is success, three is tradition!

Judging by the good spirit, enthusiasm and a deep love of Ecolint, the Oslo alumni chapter is well on its way to creating a tradition after the second dinner was organized on 25 November 2016. This year the dinner was held at a restaurant downtown with eight alumni attending, up one from last year.

Unfortunately the marmite did not quite make it in time for the dinner but the organizers were creative and used what was at hand: an old tripod, a cast iron Japanese tea pot and home-made marzipan veggies! The real thing arrived a couple of days later and will be smashed according to protocol and then distributed among the attendees.
