Ecolint Alumni not only have the right to vote in elections to the Foundation's Governing Board – they can also stand for election. The Call for Candidates for the next election, in May 2017, has just been released, with three seats to be filled.

Having an alumni presence on the school's Governing Board reflects and reinforces the important contribution Ecolint's wider community makes to the school's continued success. The board is currently chaired by an alumna, Melay Ras-Work (LGB '87), and counts Jeremy Lack (LGB '84) among its members.

Board members contribute directly at a strategic level to the governance of the Foundation. The Board holds the primary responsibility for ensuring that the Foundation’s strategic plan is aligned with its mission and it is also accountable for the financial well-being of the school.

It is a diverse group of people, composed of 12 elected members, 6 appointed members and 2 co-opted members. They are representative of the Ecolint community as well as the Swiss Cantonal and Federal authorities.

The school community, including alumni, will vote electronically from April to May 2017 or in person at the Consultative General Assembly of the Foundation on Tuesday 23 May 2017. The results of the elections will be announced at that same Assembly.

The deadline to apply to stand as a candidate in this year's elections is 17 February. An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday 17 January at the Campus des Nations, from 12h00 to 13h30. Prospective candidates are strongly recommended to attend. Please download the Call for Candidates below for more information and instructions on how to apply.
