Snowstorm fails to deter Chicago Escalade diners

The third annual Chicago Escalade Dinner took place on Saturday 10 December. Despite an impending snowstorm, there was a good turnout on the night. Carrie Eccleston (LGB '90), one of the organizers, kindly sent the report and photos below.

"We met at La Crêperie – a wonderful French restaurant – on a cold Chicago day. We met in the cozy back room and had it mostly to ourselves. The food was delicious and the conversation was fun. In attendance were Carrie Eccleston (LGB '90), Catrina Hayes (La Chât '90), Charles Darwall (LGB '76) and his wife, Wilfred De Guzman (LGB '94), his wife and six children, Cliff Potter (LGB '64) and his daughter, Jadran Lee (LGB '89) and his son, and Rosemary Hughes (LGB  '76). In anticipation of a snowstorm, several others backed out at the last minute.

The marmite was broken by the youngest De Guzman (who could walk – baby was not strong enough :0) and Cliff Potter.

A great time was had by all.

Thank you to the Ecolint Alumni Office for the wonderful marmite and the opportunity to spend an afternoon with like-minded friends."
