The vernissage of the alumni Exhibition on 8 November 2018 brought in a steady stream of visitors to the Centre des arts. Guests were treated to a wide array of creative and high-quality artwork produced by our very own alumni, panning two floors of the Centre des arts.

From Stephane Pagani's (LGB '95) project to take one photography a day in the streets of Geneva during an entire year, to the colourful oil paintings of Peter Hobden (LGB '70), depicting familiar Geneva scenes; from Emma Fuller's (La Chât '06) modern design and architectural drawings, to Rosalind Monks' (La Chât '05) intricate illustrations, visitors were able to appreciate the rich and wide variety of artwork created by Ecolint alumni.

Current art students at LGB and La Châtaigneraie had the opportunity to hear from all four artists - how they got to where they are today, their academic choices and career choices, the experiences that gave them insight, and any advice they had for their young audience.

The evening was topped-off by alumnus Julian Azkoul (LGB '06) who brought his United Strings of Europe back to the Centre des arts for a second time, after a first performance in 2016. In addition to beautifully rendered classical pieces, the concert featured poetry readings, read by former teachers Marie-Claire Vigneau-Ribal and Jean-Paul Ribal, and Alejandro Rodrìguez-Giovo (LGB '72), current teacher, and Foundation Archivist.

The Exhibition runs until 14 December, and with several enquiries from visitors on buying some of the artwork exhibited ,and numerous compliments on the work shown, we strongly encourage you to stop by and visit!
