Summer Reunion in the Rockies

 or those of you attending or considering attending The Summer Reunion in the Rockies, here is a list of

Copper Mountain Resort’s summer activities. Although none will be as exciting as our Ecolint hike or Ecolint bike ride there may be an additional activity you would like to add to your visit.

Take part in one or many of the on-property activities listed below:
**Most activities below begin operations on June 17th.  Some activities are also weather dependant.
  • Check out the mountain on a FREE scenic chair lift ridefree
  • Take a hike on one of the FREE nature hikes…Private group hikes can be arranged! Private hikes starting at  $30 an hour
  • Explore one of the many trails or paths on mountain or road bikes1/2-day rental starting at : $20 mountain, $25 road
  • Pick up some speed on a Diggler mountain scooter$10/hour, $20/3-hours
  • Try your arm at a game of disc golfFree with own gear or discs are available for sale at Peak Sports, the MAC, and Endo’s
  • Float the lake on a paddleboat or bumper boat$8/half-hour paddle boats and $8/15 min. bumper boats
  • Catch some air on the quad power bungee jump$8/jump or $22/3 jumps
  • Challenge your friends on the rock-climbing wall$8/climb
  • Pamper yourself at the athletic club in the spas, sauna, and steam rooms.  Or treat yourself to a facial or massage after checking out the indoor pool, cardio room, weight room, indoor racquetball courts and outdoor tennis courts… starting at $90/50 minute facial or massage
  • Take your best shot in a paintball challenge… field fee & rentals starting at $50 at Copper location
  • Cruise around the track in one of our go-carts$10/7-minutes  ($6 rate for groups of 10 or more)
  • Improve your handicap at a round of miniature golf$8/18-holes
  • Test your skills using a GPS trailtracker unit…$8/day

COPPER CREEK GOLF COURSE  rates vary throughout the summer

Play the highest championship golf course in North America.  Designed by Pete and Perry Dye to bring out your best game, Copper Creek is a fun and affordable 18-hole championship course.  The course’s 6,053 yards offer a welcome challenge to golfers of all abilities.  Opens June 2nd.
RAVEN GOLF CLUB AT THREE PEAKS  rates vary throughout the summer
The Raven Gold Club at Three Peaks will overload the senses with its lush rolling fairways surrounded by towering stands of pine and aspen, snow-capped peaks and grassy wetlands.  Its Tom Lehman and Hurdzan/Fry design is challenging yet eminently playable.  By bearing the Raven name, the course is guaranteed to meet exceptionally high standards of quality for course conditions, guest service, playability, and overall guest experience.  Keep in mind that transportation between Copper and the Raven can be arranged.  Opens mid-May.
WHITE WATER RAFTING starting at $55 for a half-day trip
A white water excursion is a "must” to truly experience Colorado’s summer glory.  Trips for all abilities are offered on the Arkansas, Colorado, Clear Creek and Blue Rivers. 
Some of the options include:
o        Colorado’s most popular whitewater rafting trip through Brown’s Canyon with the perfect mix of whitewater, calm water, and scenery.  Or get a little more technical in the Narrows (both on the Arkansas River). 
o        A relaxing trip down a beautiful stretch of river along the Upper Colorado. 
o        2 miles of continuous rapids through the Arapaho National Forest on the Blue River.
o        A ride through the historic mining town of Idaho Springs on Clear Creek River. 
JEEP starting at $85 or 2 1/2 hour tour AND HUMMER TOURS starting at $90 for 2 1/2 hour tour
Explore the Colorado backcountry in an open-air 4X4 Jeep or Hummer.  You’ll travel through thick forest and open meadows filled with wildflowers, enjoying crystal clear mountain streams and local wildlife.  You’ll catch views of the multiple mountain ranges while reaching elevations of up to 12,000 feet.  Don’t have time during the day?  Sunset tours are offered 6:00-9:00pm.
ATV TOURS starting at $110 for 2 hour tour
Climb aboard for a fun filled adventure on your own four-wheel drive All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV).  You’ll negotiate your way through mountain streams and climb trails through alpine meadows filled with dazzling wildflowers at elevation highs of 12,500 feet.  Experience breathtaking views on an adventure of a lifetime!
HORSEBACK RIDING starting at $33 for 1 hour & $53 for 2 hours / CATTLE DRIVES starting at $125
Listen to the sounds of the trail, the creak of saddle leather as you experience the high country by horseback.  Copper offers scenic trail rides through the picturesque forest surrounding the resort.  (Pony rides for children are also available!)  You can also go off-property to have a western adventure chasing cows on over 10,000 acres of land.  Riders of all abilities will be able to participate and ride to their individual comfort / ability level.
PAINTBALL starting at $40 @ Copper & $70 at Camp Hale
Choose between a Copper paintball adventure on-property or head off-site to play in the Rocky Mountains at Camp Hale.  The mountain terrain offers tree bunkers, foxholes and natural rockslides.  Experienced staff can guide you in games of Attack & Defend, Downed Pilot, Center Flag, Capture the Flag, Elimination and more!
FISHING half-day wade trip starting at $190
Enjoy guided float or wade fishing with either a fly or spin rod.  Take a float trip down remote sections of rivers aboard a boat with a guide to access some of the best fishing in the west!  Or try wade fishing in Gold Water and Wild Water designated areas that include the local lakes and rivers within the White River National Forest.  Rainbow, German brown, cutthroat, and brook trout are the catch awaiting you! 
TEAMBUILDING starting at $80 per person
Learn, Grow, Advance…take advantage of the outdoors by using activities and leadership concepts to focus your group’s energy to enhance communication skills, relationship-building, leadership skills, resource utilization, trust, delegation, decision making, management and more.  Teambuilding activities can be custom designed to fit your group’s needs.
