Dallas rounds off our reports from the 2014 Escalade Dinners. Bob Ackerman (LGB '73) sent us the words below, accompanied by photos courtesy of Luanne Samuel. Thanks to all of our hosts and organisers for their efforts.

The Dallas Escalade took place on Saturday Decemeber 6th at the home of the Ackermans, hosted by Bob, Sally and Sarah Ackerman. Raclette was served to about 26 people by Andre Bohren (authentic Swiss person and guest turned co-host).

We were able to facetime with the Denver Escalade Party and Bruce Barta (LGB '73) led us all in the singing of the Escalade Song: "Ah la belle Escalade! Savoyard gard, gard!"

Our marmite was smashed by the youngest Julia Johnsen and the oldest, the aforementioned Andre Bohren. The chocolate was devoured (politely) almost immediately but I still have a few marzipan vegetables left over in a tupperware if anybody has a craving.

Here's a list, hopefully complete, of attendees:
- Bob (LGB '73) and Sally Ackerman, and their daughter Sarah (both Sally and Sarah teach at Leysin American School).
- Matthew Strickler (LGB '89) and his wife Suzanne plus children Ian, Daniel, Nathan and Samantha
- Jason Strickler (LGB '95) and his wife Tara
- John M. Johnsen, Biliana D. Dimitrova and daughter Julia E. Johnsen  (Leysin American School alumni)
- Anne Bernhardt (LGB '71) and Mark Wolverton
- Lynne and John Swafford (both teachers at Leysin American School)
- Jean-Paul and Luanne Samuel, parents of Jeffrey (LGB '92), Christopher (LGB '94) and Jennifer (LGB '97); Luanne worked for Ecolint from 1988 to 2000 and is President of the Ecolint-American Foundation.
- Andre Bohren authentic Swiss person (!) and Deb Murphy
- Shirley Rubenstein
